I've armed myself with a load of two part resin, natural beeswax, drawing inks and tracing papers, kept my art room nice and airy and invested in some masks because nobody wants to go breathing in all those weird resiny fumes and getting headachy.
Here are some recent photos from my workspace:
When working with resin make sure you invest in disposable gloves, face masks, greaseproof baking paper (for working on) and make sure your room is well ventilated.
It's probably good to have a good stock of plastic spoons or paddle pop sticks for stirring the resin.
I've been colouring this stuff with Winsor & Newton drawing inks and it seems to be working fine. It probably does make the resin slightly more brittle. I'm yet to find out for sure but I've done a few canvases with ink and resin so I'll keep you posted on his this all works out.
